Meet Our Staff
Dr. Childs started off pre-med in college, but found himself in a chiropractic office following an injury – and it was life changing. The doctor asked if he would like to learn more about chiropractic care, to shadow him, and so he did. “Watching the patients improve so fast was incredible and I decided to change my degree,” says Dr. Childs.
He attended chiropractic school at Cleveland Chiropractic in Kansas City and graduated in 1997. He has been practicing in Oklahoma since 1999.
When not helping patients, Dr. Childs loves to scuba dive, golf, fish and cook. He and his wife, Carey, take long weekends at the lake with friends and family. “I love to travel and tropical places are always the best!” says Dr. Childs.
Dr. Adams graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He then attended Parker College of Chiropractic, graduating in 1999 with his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
“My chiropractic journey actually began when I was 14. As a football player and wrestler, I was being hit and slammed to the ground on a daily basis. My parents, who were both educators, were smart enough to realize both the immediate effects as well as the long term, negative consequences that my physical activities could have on my body. Thankfully, they were also wise enough to recognize the benefits that regular chiropractic care could provide in offsetting the wear and tear. My life and my career as a chiropractor can be directly attributed to the wisdom of my parents.”
Dr. Adams is full body certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and is a member of the ART Elite Providers Network. He has completed post-graduate training in Whiplash Injury and Sports Injury Management. His extensive training allows Dr. Adams to assist people from all walks of life with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Outside of the office Dr. Adams enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and squeezing in the occasional round of golf.
Carey has been working along side Dr. Childs since he started his practice in Oklahoma. Together they have two daughters and grandson. She started chiropractic care while pregnant with her first child, which happened to be a 9lb+ baby, causing her low back to hurt.
Carey is a two-time breast cancer survivor and loves to educate people on the importance of health and wellness.
Patients love to chat with Carey after their visits as she’s “never met a stranger” and is the personality of the practice.
Hailey has two boys (5 & 3) and a 6-month old baby girl. She loves spending time with family and friends. What drew her to the chiropractic field was understanding that ordinary symptoms like headaches could come from simply not being aligned.
“Since I started getting adjustments, I’ve felt so much better,” says Hailey. “Just seeing patients that come in using a cane or walker and after treatment leave without them, it’s an awesome feeling because I had part in getting them to that point.”
Jocaryn (Jo) McCullough
Jo is a Norman native and mother of two (9-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter), as well as a Golden Retriever! She became passionate about health and wellness when she started her own journey to better health seven years ago. In her free time, Jo loves spending time with her family and cooking elaborate whole food meals, being a hairdresser and singing.
“I suffered from sciatic nerve pain for almost a decade and always thought that there was nothing I could do about it. Since beginning chiropractic care, I have had absolutely no sciatic pain. I love chiropractic because just like our diets, a healthy and aligned spine is key to true health and wellness.”
Marvel is mother to four fur babies: three dogs and a cat! She loves spending time with family and friends and spreading positivity to others. She attended Moore Norman Technology Center as part of the Physical Therapy Aid program in high school and fell in love with helping others on their journey in health and wellness. She has a Bachelors in Kinesiology – Health & Exercise Management from the University of Central Oklahoma.
“I’ve always been a fan of Chiropractic and it has helped me with the aches and pains that I used to think were normal, but turned out to be much more than just every day pains. It’s been a blessing being able to see patients leave our clinic pain-free when just minutes before they were barely able to make it through our doors. I hope to continue my education in chiropractic and continue to inspire people to take back control of their health and live life to the fullest.”
